NADOO, GK

This space reads less like a conventional restaurant and more like a deeply personal memory translated into architecture. The design language is immersive, almost womb-like, where every surface, texture, and light source contributes to a nostalgic, sensory narrative rooted in South Indian identity. At its core, the interior is defined by a sculpted, monolithic envelope.

The rammed earth walls and ceilings appear carved rather than constructed. Soft, rounded edges replace sharp junctions, evoking the tactility of mud homes, temple corridors, and ancestral courtyards. This fluidity creates an enveloping warmth, making the space feel intimate and grounded, as if it has been shaped over time rather than designed in a moment.

Latango, Nehru Place

Latango, Nehru Place, brings a distinctive blend of earthy materiality and organic opulence to the heart of the city. The interiors are defined by exposed textured concrete walls, Corten steel ceilings, and charcoal-toned flooring, creating a raw yet sculptural design language. At the heart of the space, a cascading green glass bar glows with ambient lighting, serving as a striking visual centerpiece that evokes the brilliance of molten gemstones.

Indoor trees and lush planters introduce softness and balance to the brutalist palette, while the curvilinear mezzanine and fluid staircase add movement and spatial dynamism. Upholstered seating in neutral tones accented with warm rust hues complements the rugged architectural finishes, resulting in an atmosphere that feels refined yet intentionally unpolished—bold, immersive, and deeply grounded in sensory experience.

Top Banana

Top Banana is a contemporary cocktail bar and listening lounge that masterfully subverts the expectations of a typical night out. Moving far away from the predictable kitsch its name might suggest, the interior design concept embraces a moody, sophisticated architectural envelope, using it as a canvas for unexpected graphic humor, rich mid-century textures, and high-fidelity sound. The result is a space that feels like a subterranean secret, exclusive yet entirely unpretentious.

It is a space where the raw, tactile memories of the past are framed by the clean, fluid lines of modern design. From the monolithic, heavy-timber facade at the entrance to the panoramic, stainless-steel open kitchen framed directly into the brickwork, Nadoo offers a curated sensory journey. It is a space that respects the weight of South Indian history but delivers it with a sleek, contemporary edge designed for the modern epicurean.
